On this page I'm hoping you can help me identify these people, the location and the event.  Tell me who are these people, what is the location and event.

Thanks Timmy for the picture

What a group of guys! From the left on the the top row Uncle Larry hardly made the picture, then my godfather Uncle Mike, Uncle Joe better know as Uncle Tucker, my look alike Uncle Richie and Timmy's Dad and my Uncle Dave. On the bottom left, there he is, that's my Dad, or Uncle Tom to most of you and finally Uncle Jackie.  Looks like Jackson's to me.  Larry, Joe, Richie do you have a date or location for this?  Remember the event?  Anyone else got any clues?

We were hoping to hear from some of you on this one.  But  Timmy tells me this is Yates' Bar, 4th & Central in Harrison.

Great picture!!!  It looks to me like Jackson's Auditorium, Kingsland and Harrison Avenue.  Back then that is where most of the parties were held. I'm guessing it was sometime in the 50's.  Maybe a Christening!!!!!

Kathleen Pandorf

Just a thought - could this be Colleen's Christening?  Colleen - who is your godmother?  Since Mom had the picture, that's a possibility and it would put the time frame in about the right spot - 1958-1959.

Great picture!  Boy does that bring back memories.  I didn't know we had any pictures of Nana and Pop Pop.  Aunt Dolly is beautiful and Uncle Mike is so young.  The place is most likely the VFW Hall in Harrison.  I wonder if we'll ever know the event or the date.  Guess this should be a lesson to us.  Write dates, people, events, etc. on the back of your pictures because you never know how valuable they may be to someone one day.

I forwarded the photo to my dad. My guess is mid to late 50s...my guess is Dolly, Nana, PopPop and Mike.

So here is what I do know about the picture.  Well, it s Nana, Pop, Uncle Mike and Aunt Dolly.  I have a date stamp on Kodak Paper of July 1962.  Don't know if this helps.  Anyone else have any ideas?

Ok, folks.  Thanks to Beth we have this great picture at Aunt Catherine's wedding, 1946 if I'm correct.  Who is going to identify this lovely group of people?  Who do you recognize?

Well we don't have a definitive answer on this picture.  Doris had the first answer with the most  people accounted for and my sister Jackie added some but some are questionable.  Let's go from the bottom left: Nana, Poppop, don't know the little girl, Aunt Catherine, Uncle Pat McConnan and his parents.  Standing from the left:  Uncle Richie, Uncle Tom (my Dad), Aunt Peg (my Mom), the next three people are uncertain and any help identifying them are appreciated.  Next is Aunt Rosie, Uncle Mike, Aunt Edie, Uncle Jackie, Aunt Dolly, and Uncle Larry.  We can not identify  the fellow to the far right but if he was welcome at Aunt Catherine's wedding, he's welcome here too.

This one should be relatively easy.  Who are these guys?  Do you know the event?  Do you know the year?   What's your guess?

Patti Ann was first to say that this is Stephen, Dennis, Kevin, Andy and Paddy.  But what was the year and event?  We know it was in the 1970's but what year and what place and event is still up for grabs.

Who do we have here?  Some faces are hidden.  What's your guess?

I got good responses on this one. From the right we have Uncle Eddie Harken and Aunt Rosie.  Doris tells me that the next guy is her Dad Jim.  Then there's Uncle Mike who happens to be godfather to both Doris and myself.  Next is my brother Kevin doing  Bobby Darin apparently.  Then there's Poppop.  On the left of Poppop is Uncle Mike then Lillian, Doris' mother, then me with my brother Jimmy in my lap.  I believe this to be the American Legion in Harrison in June of 1965.  The event would be a graduation party for Geri, Jackie and myself.

This one should be easy for many of you. Actually I'd like to get responses from more than the same same people.  Patti Ann, Doris, Jackie, Geri and Theresa mostly give me the answers.  But I'd like to see some more of you help out.   I got this picture from my Mother's collection.  I have no date, location or event.  If you know, tell me.

Geri was right,  Jackie and Patti got most of them right  too.  It's Aunt Catherine, Poppop, Nana and Aunt Rosie.  You all recognized Holy Cross Church on Harrison Avenue in Harrison.  Hats were required apparel for women in the fifties (and certainly in church) and check out Poppop in the tuxedo.   The event?  This would be Aunt Dolly's wedding, May 7, 1955.  Geri and and Aunt Catherine's daughter Barbara were the flower girls.  Geri remembers shopping for the dress.
